Hotel Maintenance Super 8 Athabasca by Wyndham is a locally owned hotel with 80 rooms, pool, waterslide and fitness centre. Currently looking for a Hotel Maintenance to join our team as of May 26th, 2026 Rural Renewal Stream Not Available in Athabasca Responsibilities - Preventative maintenance around the hotel, including guest rooms, exterior and public areas - Carry out basic plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical repairs, ground and landscaping, leisure facilities and assigned projects- - Daily Maintenance & Monitoring of pool chemicals & Pool Facility. Pool Operators Certificate would be an asset - Open communication with Front Desk, Housekeeping & General Manager - Check maintenance log book daily to see repairs needed- - Light cleaning of parking lot as needed - On-Call & Response to hotel emergencies (Water & Electrical),- - Assist other departments wherever necessary Perks - Flexible Schedule - Staff Housing - PHSP Benefit Package - Relocation Expenses for candidates from out of area - Use of hotel amenities - Permanent Full Time & Part Time available - Starting $20.00/hr with wage adjustment after 3 month evaluation - Wage is also based on prior experience Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
