Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled team leaders, and ensuring the successful completion of building tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a quick-paced workplace. Prior experience in construction, with hand tools, concrete prep, forming, placing rebars or blueprint reading is a plus; training will be provided for specific duties. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in the area of concrete, foundation and general construction. Duties Assist with general construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, placing, finishing concrete and cleanup Operate hand tools such as packers, screeders, power trowels, hammers, saws, drills, and other basic equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to assist with project layouts and measurements Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards Skills Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment Knowledge of construction processes and techniques Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution Familiarity with construction terms & methods Solid physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, working in harsh conditions during summer and winters, standing for extended periods, working at heights Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety and quality workmanship This position provides valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to meaningful building projects. Candidates should be prepared for physical activity on-site in various weather conditions. Prior experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
