WorleyCord Energy Solutions Ltd. a subsidiary of WorleyCord Ltd. is seeking: B Pressure Rig Welder To work at our IPL Maintenance in the Fort Saskatchewan, AB area. - SALARY: $115.62 - START DATE: ASAP - SCHEDULE: 9/80 - HOURS PER DAY: 10 hours per day - PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday) - SHIFT: Dayshift - DURATION: TBD Requirements: - Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Welding ticket from a recognized provincial training authority - B-Pressure and CWB SMAW(F4) CS S & SMAW(F5) SS S - GTAW experience will be the most important. Required tickets are F6/F4, F6/F5, F3/F4 - Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection, Confined Space - Robust communication skills written and verbal - Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions Responsibilities: - Develop and or interpret patterns and blue prints. - Perform different welding processes and fillers depending upon the type of metal, its size and shape, and requirements for finished product strength. - Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using different processes - Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment - Operate brazing and soldering equipment - Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines - Repair worn parts of metal products by welding extra layers - Clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch - May perform other duties as assigned - Complete all required safety documentation Job Type: Full-time Pay: $115.62 per hour Application question(s): - Are you able to start immediately? - Are you local to Edmonton?
