The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic space for guests or residents. Experience in hospitality, hotel cleaning, or custodial work is highly valued, though training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly Assist with additional tasks such as laundry or special cleaning requests when required Adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Experience Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is preferred Hotel experience or industrial cleaning background is considered a plus Familiarity with cleaning tools, chemicals, and safety procedures is advantageous Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced workplace Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes Job Types: Full-time, Part time Pay: $15.00-$19.88 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ofj1n
