Home Economics/FSL/Religion Teacher Required for Ecole Mallaig School

Ecole Mallaig School requires a temporary full‑time (1.0 FTE) teacher commencing August 27, 2026, until December 22, 2026.

Responsibilities&Qualifications:

Have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.

Be committed to student‑centered learning.

Understand and correctly use formative/summative assessment.

Practice effective differentiated learning strategies to ensure learning.

Be collaborative and committed to building relationships with students, parents, and staff.

A College Certificate in Catholic Education will be considered an asset.

In accordance with Board Policy, the successful applicant will be required to provide a current Criminal Record– Vulnerable Sector Check and an Alberta Child Intervention Record Check.
