Job Description We are seeking Journeyman Carpenters to join our team for a project on the DOW Site. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented carpenters who possess a passion for carpentry work, enjoy using their problem-solving skills to create beautiful and functional structures, and take pride in transforming design concepts into stunning outcomes. Shift Rotation: 5 Days on 2 days off, 48 hours a week DOW, Fort Saskatchewan Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications - Measure, cut, shape, and join materials made of wood, steel, and other materials - Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim - Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery - Work collaboratively with the team to ensure project completion on time and on budget - Follow safety procedures at all times Qualifications: - Must be a Journeyperson or Apprentice Level 3+ - Experience in Doka and Peri Form Work - Excellent mathematical and measuring skills - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to work 10-hour shifts Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $51.91 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care - In office parking - Vision care Experience: - Doka Formwork : 1 year (required) Language: - English (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Confined Space Certification (preferred) - Driving Licence (preferred) - CSTS 2020 (preferred) - Carpenter Red Seal (preferred) - Fall Protection (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ol4fq
