Teacher Required for Hairy Hill Hutterite Colony School Hairy Hill Hutterite Colony School requires a full time (1.0 FTE) probationary teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Hairy Hill Hutterite Colony is located 25 km west of Two Hills, Alberta and 30 km north of Vegreville, Alberta. The school serves students from the Colony in grades 1 to 9, with 17 students. The successful candidate will: - have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate - be committed to student-centered learning - understand and correctly use formative/summative assessment - practise effective differentiated learning strategies to ensure learning - be collaborative and committed to building relationships with students, parents, staff Cross-cultural experience would be an asset as would experience or training in working with English Language Learners. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a unique cultural group and willing to work within the expectations of the culture. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently as the only teacher at the school and will be responsible for working with an educational assistant.
