The Centre for Virtual and Alternative Education, located in Athabasca, is seeking a Senior High Science Teacher for the upcoming school year. The successful candidate must be able to teach all levels of senior high science and work within a versatile setting supporting both virtual and in-person students. This is an in-person position; however, many students learn through a distance education model, while some attend on individualized schedules. The successful candidate will be comfortable using platforms such as Google Classroom and Moodle and delivering instruction through both synchronous and asynchronous formats. Qualifications: Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Ability to teach all levels of Senior High Science Experience with online and blended learning Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to student engagement and success The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, solid instructional practice, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners.
