Camp Cook & Camp Maintenance

• Camp Cooks & Camp Maintenance: 12 hrs/day, 7 days/week, 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (alternating between 2 resources per role)
• Cycle Bonus: $250 per 4 weeks worked (Cook / Maintenance roles)
• End of Project Bonus: $750 for Cook / Maintenance roles upon completion of the full 6-month phase
• $336/Day

Headcount: 2 (50% utilization each — alternating 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)

Max PR: $28/hr

About This Role

Camp Cooks are responsible for preparing and serving meals for the onsite crew at the remote Yukon camp. This role is essential to camp morale, health, and operational continuity. Two cooks share the rotation, alternating 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.

What You'll Do

• Plan, prepare, and serve three meals per day plus snacks for the onsite camp crew.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food storage, and food safety standards.
• Manage camp food inventory and submit supply/restock requests in a timely manner.
• Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences where practical.
• Support general camp housekeeping and sanitation as needed.
• Coordinate with Camp Maintenance on kitchen equipment upkeep.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook in a camp, institutional, or commercial kitchen setting.
• Experience working in remote or camp-based environments.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days/week for 2-week rotations.
• Strong food safety and sanitation awareness.
• Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable in an isolated work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior mining, drilling, or oil & gas camp cook experience.
• Food Safe / food handler certification.
• Experience managing food inventory and ordering in a remote setting.
• First Aid certification.
