Rate $25.91 and up We offer Benefits, Pension Description Reporting to the foreman, the job of the Industrial Cleaner is to keep the site clean and organized. Shift will be 10 hours in per day Monday - Friday. Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Industrial Cleaner include, but are not limited to - Clean surfaces in lunchrooms, offices, restrooms. - Sweep, vacuum and mopping of flooring. - Empty trash and recycling. - Respond to cleanup requests as necessary. - Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others. - Other duties as needed. Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience - Previous custodian, janitorial or housekeeping experience is required. - Valid Class 5 (non GDL) Drivers License - Positive attitude and strong work ethic. - Capable of working independently, as well as, in a team environment. - Demonstrate a high attention to detail. - Committed to working in a safe and efficient manner. - CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support. - Successful candidates are required to have personal reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. - Candidates must successfully complete orientation.
