Mechanical Turnaround Coordinator (Mechanical, Millwright, Pipefitter, Boilermaker)

This contract role provides mechanical field coordination during a turnaround, overseeing both static and rotating equipment work fronts and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule targets are met.

Contract Details

• 3‐ or 6‐month contract depending on assignment
• Anticipated start: November/December
• Pre‐planning: 9/80 schedule
• Execution: 6×12s
• Location: Onsite in Fort Saskatchewan

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize daily mechanical field activities across multiple contractors
• Provide oversight of static and rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, vessels, exchangers, and piping tie‐ins
• Interface with contractors, planners, QA/QC, engineering, and operations
• Support resolution of field issues impacting safety, quality, or productivity
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved procedures and specifications
• Support execution readiness, punch list closure, and turnover activities
• Provide daily progress input for schedule and reporting updates

Qualifications & Experience

• Journeyperson Millwright, Boilermaker, or Pipefitter
• 12–15+ years mechanical maintenance or construction experience
• Significant turnaround/shutdown execution experience
• Strong field leadership, contractor coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting capability
