Our commitment to excellence is matched only by our dedication to safety and efficiency. We are currently seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team in Shell Scotford. As a Equipment Operator will be responsible for overseeing the safe and effective operation of our cleaning systems. With Responsibilities that will include adhering to our cleaning procedures, operating andmaintaining a range of industrial cleaning equipment, such as pumps, diesel engines, thermal fluid heaters, knuckle boomcranes (under 8 tons), and heavy machinery. Mentorship of new employees is vital to this position alongwith ensuring all safety precautions are followed. Key Responsibilities: - Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency. - Collaborate with the team to address and resolve operational challenges and technical issues. - Opening process equipment and connecting injection tools - Uphold and promote a culture of safety, ensuring that safety protocols and guidelines are rigorously adhered to by all team members. - Travel requires up to 75% as project-based needs require - Oversee routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, coordinating the maintenance personnel as needed. - Provide general support and assistance as needed to equipment operators and the lead hand to maintain operational efficiency - Safely rig injection tools and secure them in accordance with our cleaning procedures - Ensure secure load handling for the safe transportation of equipment - Complete basic equipment and tool maintenance, including basic repairs. Ensure secure load handling for the secure transportation of equipment. - Adhere to stringent safety protocols and guidelines. - Operate equipment efficiently to meet project requirements. - Other Duties as assigned Key Qualifications: - Class 1 License required. - Extensive knowledge of pumps, diesel engines, thermal fluid heaters, knuckle boom cranes, and heavy equipment. - Proficiency in secure load handling for transportation. - Compliance with Electronic Logbooks. - Solid commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations. - Effective communication skills. - Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy equipment. - Willingness to work in various environments and weather conditions. - Previous experience in industrial cleaning equipment operation is advantageous. Work Schedule: Full Time - Monday to Friday, 8-10 hours per day (NIGHT SHIFT). Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
