Part-Time Driver and Handyperson Role, Eastern Alberta (St. Paul)

Join NHS Scotland as a part-time Driver and Handyperson at the Mackintosh Centre in Mallaig, delivering support for residents with care and respect. This role emphasizes effective communication and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals.

This Band 2 position involves 24.7 hours of work per week at the Mackintosh Centre, which supports up to 8 residents in the Lochaber area. Candidates should possess caring attitudes and respect for residents’ dignity. Experience is not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:• Provide support and assistance to residents in daily activities • Ensure safe transport for residents as needed • Communicate effectively with residents and staff • Uphold the dignity and respect of all residents • Participate in training and continual learning for care best practices
