Parts Orderer/ Warehouse Labourer (Boyle)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts tech to join our operation in a dual role that combines parts ordering and hands-on warehouse work. This is a great position for someone who likes both organization and physical work, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You'll play a key role in making sure our technicians/staff have the right parts at the right time- and that our warehouse stays secure, organized, and efficient. Responsibilities - Ordering parts, supplies, and materials from vendors. - Compare pricing and availability to ensure cost effective purchasing. - Tracking orders and following up on backorder or delays. - Receiving, checking, and entering parts into inventory systems. - Load and unload goods from trucks or containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. - Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and updates in the warehouse management system. - Assist in organizing warehouse layout for optimal storage and accessibility of products. - Conduct routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly. - Support manufacturing or construction-related tasks as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge for assembly or repairs. - Follow safety protocols at all times when operating heavy machinery or handling hazardous materials. Qualifications - Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and components. - Familiarity with warehouse management systems. - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. - Prior experience in parts or mechanics is preferred. - Knowledge of order picking, packaging, load & unload procedures is advantageous. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
