Fire Alarm Design Engineer for Major Projects (Fort Nelson)

Become part of our agile Design Engineering team focused on fire and security systems for high-profile projects. This full-time role allows for proximity to our Nelson, Cannock, or Swanley offices.

We are hiring a Fire Alarm Design Engineer with extensive experience to deliver comprehensive Life Safety System designs. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards. Your technical understanding will enable you to document, illustrate, and present detailed designs following BS5839, BS6266, and other relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities: • Produce design deliverables aligned with project timelines • Represent the company positively in customer interactions • Communicate accurate information effectively to customers • Maintain documentation throughout the design process • Oversee all aspects of the design process from start to finish

Requirements: • Demonstrated experience in fire and security design • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards • Proficient in documentation and illustration of designs • Strong customer-facing communication skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
