Position Summary
We are seeking a registered Radiological Technologist to join our Radiology department at Fort St. John Hospital. The role involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with professional standards while collaborating with radiologists, physicians and other healthcare professionals. The position requires general supervision and offers fully funded CT training. Being on call is required with some shifts.Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program. Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT. Skills and Abilities
Teaching: Ability to train clients and staff individually and in groups. Knowledge Integration: Integrates best practice and current research evidence to support professional practice decisions. Communication: Demonstrates effective communication with patients, families, public, medical staff, and interdisciplinary team using oral, written and computer means; resolves conflict.Critical Thinking: Integrates and evaluates data from multiple sources to problem‑solve and make effective decisions, applying a systems approach. Management: Organizes work, set objectives, establishes priorities, manages time and resources, promotes teamwork, supervises others, and collaborates across disciplines.Leadership: Promotes staff morale and engagement, drives change and innovation, implements policies, and supports professional development. Teamwork: Provides excellent client care through fostering teamwork. Equipment: Uses appropriate data analysis and reporting tools, email, word processing and operates related equipment as required.Physical ability to perform the duties of the position. Benefits
