Job Overview

WSP is recruiting an Environmental Scientist to join its Remediation Program Management (RPM) team. The role involves managing complex environmental projects, including Phase I/II ESAs, risk assessment, and remediation activities across Canada. Responsibilities

Apply and expand technical, client delivery and project delivery skills within a Canadian‑based firm. Identify and understand project objectives, develop work instructions and health and safety plans. Support the development and improvement of project health and safety plans according to Zero Harm policy.Participate as a member of a 10‑20 person client‑specific delivery team while leveraging the expertise of the RPM group. Collaborate with a Practice Area Network (PAN) to resolve complex technical issues. Complete fieldwork assignments in Alberta foothills and other locations in Western/Northern Canada up to 50% of the time.Maintain a work‑life balance with a hybrid model of remote work and office presence three days a week. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or related field. 3 to 6 years of experience in the environmental industry. Strong communication skills and a proven ability to coordinate activities. Experience with health and safety training, preferably related to the oil and gas industry. Passion for outdoor work and willingness to travel across Western and Northern Canada.Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK&YK: $62,900– $83,600 MB&ON: $69,900– $92,900 NB, NL, NS, PEI&QC: $76,900– $102,100 Final salary may vary based on education, experience and location. EEO Statement
