Restaurant Supervisor – Royal Tandoori (9397-7577 Québec Inc.)
Royal Tandoori is one of the most popular Indian restaurants in the Granby area, offering authentic Tandoori cuisine. We are located at 376 Rue Principale, Granby, QC J2G 2W6.
Our restaurant is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field and a strong knowledge of Tandoori cuisine.
Good proficiency in English and French is required.
As we plan to expand our services, including catering and delivery, we are looking for a supervisor who will oversee and manage our order and delivery operations.
Required Qualifications:
• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of at least 1 year in restaurant management, hotel management or other related field;
Good knowledge of English and French
• Knowledge of analytic tools and POS systems used in a restaurant setting
• Experience in managing customer complaints
• Experience in food menu design
• Knowledge of Indian languages such as Hindi and regional languages is an asset
Main Duties:
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food
• Oversee orders for food, supplies, and inventory
• Prepare production and service documentation as required
• Check deliveries and conduct weekly inventory
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Verify the quality and quantity of items received and ensure proper storage according to sanitation procedures
• Ensure ingredients are used according to standard recipes
