Maintenance Tech Apprentice (Bromont)

Title: Maintenance Tech Apprentice Location: Bromont, QC J2L 1S7, Canada Hours: M-Thurs 12pm-10pm Duration : 4 months with possibility for extension Resource's typical working day: - React alarms - Changing filters - Adding salt to polisher on water distribution - Make rounds of taking measurements - Reading monitors - Take meter data for reporting - Be the one at the main entrance - Go onto the loading dock - One person working on the facilities side in the evening Must Have Skills: - Learn and be able to find solutions on their own - Going to be the one operating the system should anything stop, has to be manually be able to close valves and starting pumps Nice to have skills: Entry level position Software skills: Minimal, has to be able to work on a computer Email and CMMS Summary: As a Maintenance Technical Apprentice, you will develop on the job skills to maintain buildings, industrial systems, and equipment on an ongoing basis by conducting routine preventive maintenance inspections, diagnosing potential problems, and making repairs.
