BI Developer - HMG AMERICA LLC (Granby)

Role: Power BI Developer Location: Canada (Remote) Job Type: Full-Time (FTE) We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our growing data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development, data visualization, SQL, and data modeling to deliver scalable business intelligence solutions for enterprise stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports - Create efficient data models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query - Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements - Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows - Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and report performance optimization - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering and Business teams - Support production reporting environments and troubleshoot issues Required Skills: - experience in Power BI development - Solid expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data visualization - Hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational databases - Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts - Strong understanding of data modeling and report optimization - Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills: - Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Snowflake - Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages - Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology - Exposure to cloud-based analytics platforms Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ofsws
