Maintenance Technician at Cargill (Farnham)

Cargill is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Chambly, QC to ensure the production line runs smoothly. Bring your mechanical expertise to a key role in our protein and salt business. In this full time position, you will utilize your experience in electromechanics or industrial mechanics to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues. With at least two years of industrial experience, you will support production startup and participate in equipment upgrades. This role involves physical tasks, such as lifting and climbing, in a safety-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct preventive maintenance and resolve equipment issues - Diagnose and enhance mechanical and electrical systems - Assist in morning production startup processes - Perform fabrication and welding as needed - Maintain a clean and organized workspace Requirements: - Legally authorized to work in Canada - Minimum 18 years old - D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics - At least 2 years of relevant experience - Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation Utilize your skills in maintenance and troubleshooting to support Cargill’s production efforts in Chambly.
