We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Grande Prairie location. Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our furniture retail warehouse. You will be responsible for handling, organizing, and shipping, contributing to efficient inventory management and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Load, unload and move furniture and appliances by hand or using basic material handling equipment. - Ensure items are packed and stored safely to prevent damage. - Help with inventory counts and make sure all products are tracked. - Restock the showroom with furniture and appliances. - Keep the warehouse organized and ensure products are stored properly. - Prepare stock for pick-up and make sure it’s ready for delivery. - Help the team provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries. - Address customer complaints and try to resolve issues quickly. - Keep the warehouse & the store clean and organized, including dusting and moving items. - Operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks safely. - Follow safety rules to keep the workplace safe. - Stick to warehouse procedures to ensure efficiency. - Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to make sure everything is packed and ready for delivery. Skills and Qualification: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Minimum 1 year of experience as material handler, or any related fields. - Trained to operate fork lifts & other Material handling equipment - Robust customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. - Be part of the delivery team as the assistant / swamper on the delivery truck as needed - Ability to lift and carry heavy items for extended periods. - Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety protocols.
