Painter/Prepper (Grimsby Hyundai)

Heres what youll deliver: Review repair orders before beginning work on vehicles. Analyze, assess and evaluate the exterior paint condition of various motor vehicles and select appropriate corrective action or method of repair. Identify and remove layers of sub-coatings by using abrasives, solvents or chemicals. Remove damaged bolt on parts using wrenches when required. Repair out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams Ensure all vehicles scheduled to be painted are masked and covered. Repair the exterior of the vehicle with sanding, mudding, or any other blemishment repair techniques required to apply paint. Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times. Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures. Other duties as required by management. What do you need to succeed? High School Diploma or GED is required. 3+ years of experience in Automotive body work servicing. Must have knowledge in the manufacturer''s repair and refining process. Able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude. Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times. Must have a valid Ontario Driver''s License and good driving record. Experienced in all aspects of used cars reconditioning. Experience in sanding, mudding and other necessary exterior body work repair techniques. Experience with cleaning chemicals. Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules. Whats in it for you?
