Role Summary The Senior Network & Computer Technician is a hands-on technical role with added responsibility for complex troubleshooting, mentoring peers, and supporting service quality. This is not a formal management role; however, the successful candidate will provide informal leadership through expertise, collaboration, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities - Lead resolution of complex desktop, server, and network issues - Perform advanced troubleshooting across infrastructure, backups, and cloud services - Support and mentor technicians through peer guidance and knowledge sharing - Ensure accurate, timely ticket documentation and time entry - Assist with customer remediation, stabilization, and follow-up work - Adhere to internal standards for customer communications and commitments - Identify recurring issues and suggest practical improvements Required Qualifications - 5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in an MSP environment - Strong networking experience (firewalls, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi) - Solid understanding of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and backups - Proven ability to work independently on complex issues - Professional, calm, and customer-focused communication style Preferred Qualifications - Experience with virtualization, cloud migrations, or DR/BC solutions - Prior experience mentoring or supporting junior technicians - Relevant technical certifications (Microsoft, networking, security) What We Offer - Competitive senior-level compensation - Meaningful technical work with real customer impact - Opportunity to influence service quality and team capability - Stable environment focused on execution and accountability Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00-$31.25 per hour Benefits - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: - Grimsby, ON L3M 4H4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Education: - Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience: - IT support: 5 years (required) Language: - English (required) Licence/Certification: - Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oox9w
