Role Summary The Network & Computer Technician is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to clients across desktops, servers, networks, and cloud services. This role is hands-on, customer-facing, and execution-focused. You will work independently on assigned tickets and scheduled visits while collaborating closely with the internal team. Key Responsibilities - Provide on-site and remote support for Windows-based desktops and laptops - Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches) - Support Microsoft 365, email, backups, and basic cloud services - Accurately document work performed in tickets and time entries - Ensure all customer visits are scheduled and updated in the service calendar - Work tickets toward closure within established service targets - Escalate issues appropriately and follow internal communication protocols Required Qualifications - 2–5 years of experience in a technical support or MSP environment - Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and common business applications - Customer-service mindset with clear and professional communication - Ability to manage time, priorities, and documentation independently - Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Microsoft 365 administration - Familiarity with backup solutions and basic cybersecurity concepts - MSP or multi-client environment experience What We Offer - Competitive compensation based on experience - Stable work environment with clear expectations - Opportunity to grow technical skills and responsibility - Supportive team culture with practical leadership Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - In office parking - Paid time off - Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: - Grimsby, ON L3M 4H4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Education: - Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience: - IT support: 3 years (required) Language: - English (required) Licence/Certification: - Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2orm3a
