About the Role Specialised physiotherapist role for the Men's First Team, based in Cleethorpes.
Key Responsibilities
Act as lead physiotherapist for all First Team training sessions and matches, ensuring appropriate emergency first aid provision at training and both home and away fixtures.
Provide evidence‑based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation programmes for First Team players.
Develop and enhance the injury treatment and management programme, ensuring approaches remain aligned with the latest research and best practice.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in accordance with legislation, policies, and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy standards.
Implement and monitor a treatment and injury management strategy in collaboration with the First Team coaching staff, Head of Performance and Sports Science team.
Work alongside the Sport Science Lead as part of a multidisciplinary team to oversee and adjust individual player programmes.
Liaise regularly with coaching staff to keep them informed of diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation progress and overall player wellbeing.
Analyse and review injury management strategies to ensure programmes meet the evolving needs of both individual players and the squad.
Implement injury prevention and reduction strategies alongside the sports science department.

Qualifications
BSc in Physiotherapy.
Chartered Physiotherapist status (CSP Registered).
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football (ATMMiF) qualification.
FA Safeguarding Certification.
Desired Attributes
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience using online medical record systems.
Knowledge and understanding of professional football environments.
Previous experience working in elite sport.
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to continuing professional development.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and matchdays.
Additional Requirements As the Club works with young people, this role will be subject to a DBS check and requires strict adherence to safeguarding and child protection policies.
