Part-Time Concierge Security Guard — Grimsby, ON

We are actively seeking Part-Time Concierge Security Guard to work at our condominium site in Grimsby Ontario. The concierge security guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property, residents, and visitors while providing excellent customer service. This role emphasizes maintaining a welcoming and secure environment, addressing any concerns professionally, and acting as a key point of contact for all residents and guests. Key Responsibilities: - Be the first point of contact for residents, guests, contractors, and deliveries—professional, courteous, proactive - Perform access control: issue visitor/contractor passes, verify ID, prevent tailgating/piggybacking - Conduct interior/exterior patrols; identify hazards and respond per post orders - Monitor CCTV, fire panel/alarms, and access control systems - Enforce site rules, the Trespass to Property Act (Ontario), and relevant by-laws - Manage parcels, parking permits, and contractor access - Complete accurate daily logs and incident reports while maintaining privacy & confidentiality Requirements: - Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (required) - CPR/First Aid Level C (required or willing to obtain promptly) - High personal integrity and polished communication/customer service - Solid situational awareness, problem-solving, and conflict resolution - Able to multi-task, prioritize, and stand/walk for extended periods - Reliable commute to downtown Toronto Education / Experience: - 3+ years concierge/condo security experience - Hospitality/concierge training, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Police Foundations / Law & Security studies (completed or in progress) - Ontario Driver’s Licence (if a site requires vehicle access) Special Certifications needed: - Valid Ontario Security Licence - First Aid & CPR Certificate Level C - Comfortable accepting same-day or next-day assignments - Reliable punctuality and readiness for evenings/overnights/weekends as needed - Training provided and uniform per company policy - Clear post orders, supportive leadership, and growth opportunities (lead, mobile, operations) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.10 per hour Application question(s): - Have you ever managed a fire alarm activation in a condominium?
