Service Advisor--Night Shift (Guelph)

Job Summary We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our maintenance team. The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between dispatch and our service department. This role requires robust communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have garage or mechanic experience, along with the ability to upsell services and handle cash transactions efficiently. Responsibilities - Manage work orders, defects, and repair updates - Assign repair jobs to mechanics based on priority and workload - Issue, order, and track parts for repairs - Ensure mechanics receive parts and job details on time - Monitor repair progress and labor hours during the shift - Follow up on pending or urgent repairs and breakdowns - Maintain inventory records and organized parts storage - Communicate repair status with management and drivers - Ensure completed work orders are updated and closed properly - Maintain safe, clean, and smooth overnight garage operations.
