Junior Environmental Scientist In Guelph

SLR Consulting is seeking a passionate Junior Environmental Scientist in Guelph, Canada. You will execute and lead diverse programs related to contaminated site assessment and remediation. As part of SLR’s Land Quality and Remediation team, you will tackle diverse environmental projects, from monitoring soil and groundwater to helping prepare technical reports. Your fieldwork experience will be essential in overseeing programs at urban and remote sites, contributing to significant project phases and driving sustainability efforts. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments • Conduct sampling of soil, water, and soil vapour • Assist in technical report preparation and project planning • Supervise remediation system operations and maintenance • Collaborate effectively with project teams Requirements: • Two-year environmental technician diploma • 3 to 5 years in contaminated site work • Experience with environmental drilling methods • Knowledge of health & safety regulations • Valid driver's license and vehicle access Make a difference in sustainability as a Junior Environmental Scientist with SLR in Guelph.
