Supply Chain Manager – North America Guelph, ON - Hybrid (3 days/week in office) Our client, a global leader in crop protection and agricultural solutions, is looking for a Supply Chain Manager – North America. About your team This role is part of a collaborative, cross functional team that brings together Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Regulatory, Finance, and Global Operations to support the company’s growing portfolio of crop protection and biological products. The team plays a critical role in ensuring products are sourced, manufactured, planned, and delivered efficiently to support the seasonal needs of the North American market. The North American supply chain team works closely with global colleagues, suppliers, toll manufacturers, warehousing partners, and transportation providers to coordinate inventory, forecasting, manufacturing, repacking, and outbound order management activities. The work is rapid paced, highly collaborative, and closely connected to both commercial operations and customer service delivery across Canada and the U.S. How you’ll make an impact In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the North American supply chain operations for Canada and the U.S. by ensuring products are ordered, manufactured, and delivered efficiently to meet business and customer needs. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Regulatory, and Global Supply Chain teams to support forecasting, inventory management, outbound order coordination, and seasonal planning activities across North America. About your job • Work with suppliers to order material on time and have it available at the correct warehouse for sales or manufacturing. • Support the planning and supply coordination of shareholder, third party supplier, and proprietary product lines across North America. • Plan with country teams and toll manufacturers the formulation and repacking of products for Canada and the U.S. • Work with suppliers to provide inventory and forecasts for their seasonal planning. • Collaborate with other global supply chain functions, including Quality Assurance. • Ensure global supply chain processes are carried out on time to support an accurate global Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP;) process. • Monitor inventory levels and stock aging to ensure compliance with local legal requirements, registrations, and internal company standards. • Engage with local sales and marketing teams to provide supply chain insights and planning related to new product introductions and market withdrawals. • Understand the label process to ensure correct labels are applied to the correct products and meet Province and State registration requirements. • Act as the primary North American point of contact for supply chain related matters across Canada and the U.S. • Maintain and develop relationships with tollers, suppliers, transport providers, warehousing partners, and other key operational contacts. • Support local customer service teams in Canada and the U.S. to ensure communication on inventory availability and delivery timelines. • Provide day to day operational oversight and coordination support to the Customer Service team related to outbound order management and fulfillment activities. • Support and coordinate outbound order processes, including inventory allocation, order flow, shipment coordination, and communication with internal stakeholders and external partners. • Participate in operational discussions related to pricing, invoicing, and customer order management to support day to day business operations across Canada and the U.S. • Work closely with Finance, Customer Service, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing, invoicing, and inventory reporting. About you • Experience working in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, customer service, operations, agriculture, or a related environment. • Highly organized with the ability to manage operational challenges, competing priorities, and seasonal demands in a fast paced, cross border supply chain environment. • Strong relationship building and communication skills, with the ability to work cross functionally with suppliers, operational partners, and global teams across Canada and the U.S. • Comfortable supporting inventory management, forecasting, outbound order coordination, and operational planning activities. • Detail oriented with the ability to support accurate order processing, inventory reporting, invoicing, and supply chain coordination. • Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Teams. • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions focused approach to work. • Willingness and ability to obtain the required Canadian pesticide licensing required to support the role, with full training provided. • While technical and operational capability are critical to success in this role, the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across global teams, suppliers, and operational partners will also be important to long term effectiveness within the position. Software and Systems Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools is considered an asset. The primary software and systems used within this role include: • Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system • Arkieva sales forecasting software • Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Power BI, SharePoint, Word, Excel) Licensing & Training In this role, the successful candidate will be required to obtain applicable local and national pesticide licensing required to fulfill the position in Canada.
