Assist in the daily food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Ensure all food items are stored properly and labeled to prevent spoilage. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and cooking methods. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards. Robust attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
