Landscape Gardener Crew Leader (Puslinch)

Hayden’s Property Maintenance is a family owned and operated landscape maintenance company. We have been maintaining high end properties in Puslinch and Guelph for the past 25 years. Our main clientele are larger estate properties. We are looking to hire a Garden Maintenance Crew Leader, who is experienced in complete maintenance of high end gardens, as well as softscaping. We are looking to hire a person that is willing to go above and beyond for our clients and to provide them the attention to detail that they expect. Hayden's Property Maintenance is located just South of Guelph on Victoria Rd. The qualifications and skills of the successful candidate will include: -A degree or diploma in Horticulture or minimum 3 years work experience, or a combination equivalent training and work experience. -Plant Identification knowledge. -Keen attention to detail -Must have excellent people skills -Follow written and oral instruction -Have good organizational and time management skills -Physically fit and able to perform manual labor -Self driven with the ability to manage and motivate a crew of 3 others -Clean drivers abstract and the ability to operate a large truck and trailer -Experience in Snow removal is an asset. Duties to be performed As the Garden Maintenance Crew Leader, there a variety of duties you will be asked to complete. You will responsible for dealing with clients on site and maintaining a garden that exceeds their expectations. -Organize yourself and crew for daily jobs -Ensure your crew is working safely and efficiently -Edge, prune, weed, trim, spread mulch, plant, soft landscape construction. -Knowledge of hardscaping and equipment operation is an asset. Job Type: Full time Pay: $26.00-$31.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: - Puslinch, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Application question(s): - Do you have experience driving an F550 or equivalent sized dump truck.
