Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Summer Student General Labourer to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, supporting various production and assembly tasks. The role is ideal for students interested in gaining practical skills in manufacturing operations, within a rapid-paced setting. Duties Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools Perform routine maintenance and inspections of machinery and tools Help organize inventory and ensure proper storage of materials Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals Support general labour tasks as assigned by supervisors Skills Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment effectively Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not required Strong attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods This position provides an excellent chance for students to develop foundational skills in manufacturing while contributing to a productive team environment.
