Social Media Marketer (Guelph)

About us: Iron Embers Inc. is a small business in Guelph, ON and we have been building premium quality firepits since 2011. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Social Media Marketer with a particular skill in social media management and video ad creation. In this role, you will be responsible for growing the brand’s social media presence and following, and helping to transform concepts into engaging video ads. You will work closely with team members to ensure that the final product aligns with the project vision and meets high-quality standards. Responsibilities: - Coordinate the brand’s social media developing a content calendar and scheduling posts, with the goal of driving engagement and increasing our following. - Develop engaging content for Iron Ember’s target audience to be used in paid advertising campaigns. - Utilize various editing software to enhance video quality, including color correction, sound editing, and visual effects. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. - Incorporate feedback from team members to refine edits and improve final outputs. - Maintain organized project files and adhere to best practices for video production workflows. - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video editing. - Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, messaging, and platforms. Skills and Experiences: - 3+ years in a comparable position - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects). - Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. - Strong understanding of brand positioning, storytelling, and consumer psychology - A creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling. - Experience with drones and videography would be an asset.
