Operational Accounting Coordinator CGL (Guelph)

CGL offers an engaging Operational Accounting Coordinator role within Financial Accounting Services, working hybrid. This position focuses on bank reconciliations and daily payment processing to support organizational finances. As part of the national Finance team at CGL, you will help streamline financial processes while ensuring accuracy in all banking activities. This full-time position requires robust problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to uphold financial integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct daily bank reconciliations for all Co-operators Group accounts - Manage clearing account reconciliations excluding Addenda - Prepare journal entries to resolve outstanding items - Oversee daily payment processes and EFT reconciliation - Execute wire transfers for the Group Requirements: - College or university degree/diploma in accounting/finance - 0-2 years of relevant financial experience - Knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software - Familiarity with Oracle and related systems is a plus Contribute to financial accuracy and team collaboration as an Operational Accounting Coordinator at CGL.
