Springfield Golf & Country Club is looking to hire an ambitious, creative, experienced Line Cooks. As one of Guelph’s premier golf courses & banquet facilities. We also have a full service Restaurant / Golfer’s Lounge & Patio. In our three banquet rooms we host everything from weddings to golf tournaments, business meetings and cocktail receptions and more! Summary We are seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Springfield Golf & Country Club. This role is essential in delivering delicious meals while maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of providing excellent dining experiences for our members and guests. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. - Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely service during peak hours. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. - Follow food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. - Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages. Requirements - Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or similar environment. - Has weekend flexibility with their availability to work various shifts between the hours of 9am and 9pm on weekends - Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. - Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude. - Basic culinary skills with a passion for food preparation.
