We act for leading national and international insurers on complex and high-value matters. We are seeking a motivated Associate Lawyer (with at least 2+ years’ experience) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys litigation, takes ownership of their files, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.What You’ll Do

Manage and advance litigation files from initial referral through to resolution with increasing autonomy Prepare pleadings, motions, and other court materials Prepare detailed liability and damages assessments, and opinions Prepare for and conduct discoveries, mediations, and Judicial settlement conferencesWork closely with partners on complex insurance defence matters Build strong client relationships and contribute to excellent client service What You Bring

Member in good standing with a Canadian provincial bar (or eligible for admission to the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society) At least 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably insurance defence Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesSound judgment, attention to detail, and professionalism A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently What We Offer
