Electrical Engineering Technician at DRS Pivotal Power (Halifax)

Contribute to military technology as an Electrical Engineering Technician at DRS Pivotal Power in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Work closely with engineering teams on power conversion equipment and hands-on testing. This temporary contract role reports directly to the Chief Engineer. You will assist in engineering duties, including design, prototyping, and testing of switch-mode power converters. A strong foundation in power electronics and troubleshooting skills are key for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Support engineering teams with routine tasks - Assist in design and procurement of circuits - Conduct tests and analyze results thoroughly - Document project specifications and test procedures - Troubleshoot malfunctions and offer solutions Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Electrical Engineering - Minimum one year of experience in electrical design - EET or P.
