Mechanical Design Engineer at Bluedrop, Halifax

This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Systems Engineering and involves working collaboratively on creating and improving simulation systems. You will document design specifications, develop detailed models in AutoCAD Inventor, and engage with both internal teams and external partners for optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:• Review and document specifications accurately • Create design concepts and detailed models in AutoCAD Inventor • Organize drawing releases and incorporate stakeholder feedback • Prepare specs for fabrication and manage engineering changes • Conduct inspections on fabricated parts forquality assurance

Requirements:• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline • 3 years of experience in mechanical design • Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor • Familiarity with GD&T and engineering standards• Ability to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance
