Position Title: Front of House Manager

Are you a passionate hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment? The Quarterdeck Resort is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to lead our restaurant team and deliver exceptional dining experiences on Nova Scotia's South Shore.

Position Overview

As our Front of House Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the guest experience in our restaurant. You'll lead, coach, and support our service team while ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining the high standards our guests know and love.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house operations and service execution
• Create a welcoming, polished, and memorable guest experience
• Train, mentor, and schedule a dynamic service team
• Manage reservations, floor flow, and service standards
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and care
• Monitor labour and support overall restaurant performance
• Collaborate with the kitchen and leadership team for seamless service
• Support events, weddings, and special dining experiences

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience (resort or upscale dining an asset)
• A natural leader with strong communication and team-building skills
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and solutions-focused under pressure
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
