Your New Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and scaling modern web applications used in real-world healthcare environments.

You won't just ship features—you'll own them end-to-end, contributing across the full software development lifecycle and working closely with product teams and users.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building scalable, high-performance applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and NestJS
• Owning the full SDLC: from problem definition and design through development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Deploying your own code using trunk-based development, short-lived branches, and automated testing
• Collaborating closely with product managers and stakeholders to solve real user problems
• Contributing to a customer-first engineering culture, ensuring features deliver real impact
• Participating in a remote-first, highly distributed team, embracing async communication
• Supporting production systems through on-call rotations (approx. 1 week/month)

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js (NestJS nice-to-have)
• Experience building scalable frontend applications with a focus on performance and usability
• Exposure to AWS environments (ECS, Terraform) or a willingness to learn
• Proven ability to take ownership of problems end-to-end, even when requirements are ambiguous
• A scrappy, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, remote, and async environments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
