Field Operation - Training&Quality Specialist Location: Young Tower, 6080 Young Street, Halifax, NS

On-site: working all 5 days per week in the Office.

Responsibilities Reporting to the National Manager of Training and Quality, the Training and Quality Specialist will conduct quality inspections on installations performed by authorized agents and internal technicians within our Eastlink systems. Responsibilities include travel, performing quality inspections, conducting audits, training, mentoring/coaching and addressing customer escalations.

The Training and Quality Specialist will work closely with other Training and Quality Team members, assisting in both creation and delivery of technical training programs. The role also involves developing and delivering training courses for new product equipment deployed in the field.

The successful candidate will be a self‑learner and motivated to stay current with changes to technology in the industry. They will be comfortable designing and implementing training and educational initiatives, working independently on projects of various sizes and content, and possess clear and concise written and oral communicationskills to successfully train and mentor field technicians to create a high quality and consistent team.

Qualifications

Post‑secondary education (Electronics background an asset) and/or equivalent experience

Experience in adult education will be considered a strong asset

Strong communication abilities

Excellent presentation skills

Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Ability to work independently, maintaining a high level of accuracy to detail

Ability to travel; must possess a valid driver’s license; company vehicle provided
