Employer Name: Allandale Animal Hospital Position: Veterinarian No. of vacancies: 2 Salary: $125,000 annually / 40 hours per week Employment type: Permanent employment, Full time Location: 34 Stone Church Rd W Suite 100, Ancaster, ON L9K 1S5 - The candidate must diagnose diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals, herds, and flocks using physical examinations or laboratory tests. - The candidate must vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases. - The candidate will be responsible for advising clients on feeding, housing, behavior, breeding, hygiene, and general care of animals. - The candidate must perform routine, emergency, and post‑mortem examinations. - The candidate must provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia. - The candidate will be responsible for supervising animal health technologists and animal care workers. Job Requirements - The candidate should be fluent in English language. - The candidate must have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry. - The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry. - The candidate must be licensed by the provincial or territorial authorities.
