The Prospect Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for career advancement within a growing company Supportive team environment focused on safety and innovation Ongoing training and professional development Night shift (8 hour shifts) Position Description The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our clients plant on the night shift (8 hour shifts), leading a team of technicians to ensure equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and safe work practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, including a valid trade certification, and experience in a manufacturing environment leading the companys skilled trades team in ensuring the optimal performance of their production and facility equipment. Supervise, schedule, and support maintenance staff in mechanical, electrical, and general facility maintenance tasks Plan and oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues in a timely manner Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing needs Maintain maintenance records, inventory of parts, and order supplies as needed Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability Train and mentor tradespeople and apprentices Experience 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including supervisory or team lead experience Experience with Lean Manufacturing or TPM practices Qualifications Valid Ontario trade certification (e.g., Millwright 433A, Electrician 442A/309A, or equivalent) Strong knowledge of packaging or manufacturing equipment (e.g., conveyors, PLCs, pneumatic systems) Proven leadership and organizational skills with a focus on safety and quality Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of applicable ESA, OHSA, and TSSA standards Education Valid Ontario trade certification (e.g., Millwright 433A, Electrician 442A/309A, or equivalent).
