LINE COOK (Hamilton)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a rapid-paced restaurant environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with a strong commitment to food safety and quality standards. Duties - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards - Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients - Ensure all dishes are cooked to order with attention to quality and consistency - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils and cooking stations - Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times - Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction - Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management - Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment Qualifications - Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred - Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards - Strong understanding of the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed - Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals Join our team as a Line Cook if you are enthusiastic about creating delicious dishes, maintaining high standards of food safety, and providing outstanding service in a dynamic restaurant setting.
