General Handyman/woman (Hamilton)

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and hard-working Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on residential and commercial properties and be comfortable handling a wide range of repair, renovation, and maintenance tasks. This position involves everything from general repairs and installations to light renovations, property upkeep, and assisting with construction-related projects. Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties Handle drywall repairs, painting, trim work, and basic carpentry Complete minor plumbing and electrical repairs Install doors, hardware, fixtures, cabinets, and flooring Perform exterior maintenance including siding, fencing, decking, and property cleanup Diagnose maintenance issues and provide practical solutions Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Maintain clean and organized job sites Communicate professionally with clients and team members Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard Qualifications: Experience in general construction, property maintenance, or handyman services Knowledge of residential and commercial building systems Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site Strong attention to detail and workmanship Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions Experience with renovations or multiple trades is considered a robust asset Preferred Skills: Carpentry Drywall and painting Flooring installation Basic plumbing Basic electrical Tile work Exterior repairs Renovation experience What We Offer: Competitive wages Consistent work opportunities Growth opportunities within the company Flexible work environment Supportive team atmosphere Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o3dkb
