Asphalt Paving Labourer (Ancaster)

MUST HAVE 1-2 years of related experience in asphalt paving, materials, equipment, and processes. Job Overview King Asphalt Maintenance is looking to hire hardworking and experienced Asphalt Labourers and Operators to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist in the installation and maintenance of asphalt surfaces, including paving parking lots, and driveways. - Required ability to shovel, rake, and handle other various tools and equipment. - Experience with Skid steer, Roller, and Paver considered an asset. - Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment around the worksite. - General labourer duties associated with all aspects of asphalt paving and maintenance. - Ensure worksite safety by following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Previous experience in the asphalt/paving industry. - Engage in physical labor including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects. - Ability to work in all weather conditions. - Valid G-Licence required. - Must be able to commute to and from shop/jobsites. - A positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with co-workers. - Willingness to work flexible hours.
