For more details, visit: Website or LinkedIn Page Job Description: What you will do: - Lead the architectural design and evolution of the cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical vision,design of multi-tenant architectures where applicable, ensuring strict isolation and resource management. - Define the architectural patterns for microservices deployment, inter-service communication, and data management within the platform. - Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for microservices, data pipelines, and infrastructure. - Drive the selection and integration of current technologies and tools to enhance platform capabilities and efficiency. - Lead the design and implementation of Terraform modules for provisioning and managing all cloud infrastructure components. - Define automation strategies for platform provisioning, configuration management using Ansible, and environment setup. - Integrate IaC into the CI/CD pipeline for automated and consistent infrastructure deployments. - Architect and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for building, testing, scanning, and deploying microservices and infrastructure. - Implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, performance, security scanning tools) within the pipeline. - Define and implement deployment strategies (e.g., blue/green, canary) for workloads. - Design and implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging) and distributed tracing. - Define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for platform services. - Architect disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA) strategies for multi-region deployments. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform engineers, DevOps specialists, and development teams. - Collaborate closely with product owners, engineering leads, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into architectural designs. - Drive technical discussions, conduct architectural reviews, and make critical design decisions. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with significant hands-on experience in: - Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE): Cluster design, networking, security, workload management. - Pub/Sub, Databases, IAM, Workflows - Terraform: Extensive experience with IaC for GCP. - Security Services & GCP Networking (VPC, Load Balancers, DNS), API Gateway - Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Trace. - Proven experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation. - Strong proficiency with Ansible for configuration management. - Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker) and the Kubernetes ecosystem. - Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and API design. - Experience with security best practices, various scanning tools (e.g., for code, containers, infrastructure), and compliance frameworks. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: - GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification. - Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio). - Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools. - Experience in a multi-tenant platform environment.
