Accounts Payable Administrator The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day departmental functions, supporting sales staff and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role provides support to Trading, Logistics, Order Processing, Operations and Accounting departments. There is 1 existing vacancy for this position. What do we offer - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Wellness program Responsibilities - Accounts Payable coding and processing of invoices in accounting software adhering to proper approval procedures - Ability to reconcile vendor accounts - Ability to issue payments following corporate policies and procedures - Performs filing and general administrative tasks as required. - Liaise with other departments and vendors as required - Investigating and resolving outstanding credit items - Other duties as assigned by department supervisor. Qualifications - Previous experience performing AP functions (minimum 1 - 2 yrs.). - Proven ability to organize, prioritize, problem-solve and ensure accuracy (attention to detail). - Proven ability to demonstrate good communication skills with a positive attitude. - Proficient computer skills, Great Plains, MS Office suite of products. - Knowledge of accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures.
