What we expect Your responsibilities - Accountable for working safely and ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety policies and legislation - Follow safe operating procedures and advise supervisor of potential hazards - Source and purchase materials while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards - Generate and manage purchase orders (POs) in alignment with company policies and procedures - Responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying shipment accuracy, completeness and condition - Inventory control/cycle counting of all boxes, materials, shop supplies and stock - Packing shipments where some assembly may be required - Prepare materials for delivery, verifying all items are securely loaded and protected from the elements and all accompanying paperwork is available - Manage internal customer communications via email and phone - Prepare vehicle for delivery, verify all items are securely loaded and protected from the elements and all accompanying paperwork is available. - Operate vehicle to transport material to site & branches. - Maintain remote communications via telephone; follow instructions and provide status updates . - Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including documenting daily inspections and ensuring safety equipment, straps and paperwork are in place. - Follow safe operating procedures. Advise supervisor of potential hazards. - Accountable for working safely and ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety policies and legislation. - Delivery of parts to job sites. - Perform shipping and receiving tasks (must be able to operate a forklift). Verify shipment accuracy, completeness and condition - Assists in loading and unloading of equipment supplies and materials - Receive, track and distribute packages received in the warehouse - Other duties as assigned Who we are looking for Your qualifications - Must hold a valid G license - Clean driving record - A minimum of one-year related experience in a warehouse environment - High school diploma and/ or equivalent work experience - Must hold a valid Class 5 license - Experience with Oracle, and WebHelp would be considered an asset - Overhead crane experience would be considered an asset - A minimum of one-year related experience in a warehouse environment - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others - Ability to handle competing priorities and manage time effectively What we offer Permanent Fulltime Position: Existing Vacancy Salary: $44,000-$55,000 based on experience Eligible for a Bonus (5% Target) Artificial Intelligence will not be used to select applicants for this position Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ogl4o
